River Sands first commenced business in Brisbane in 1974 as a miner and processor of pit and filter sands.

After 32 years of consistent growth the company now successfully sells its products to all parts of Australia and numerous countries overseas.

Although sand is a key ingredient in many of the company’s products, the focus of the business in the past 15 years has switched to the manufacturing of a very wide range of construction products.

The company manufactures an array of dry-mix cement based products and coatings for the building and construction industry and supplies a full range of decorative concrete products for the readymix concrete and swimming pool markets.

Most recently, River Sands has also ventured into the manufacture and supply of tile adhesives, construction grouts and waterproofing products for the heavy construction and mining sector.

All products are manufactured to a Quality Assurance program certified as complying with ISO 9001.
